Well, that picture is a good start.
Apart from being an abject failure as an MP (remember his Go 4th Campaign?) this man has been an abject failure as a human being – an adulterer, a so-called ‘man of the people’ who loves to sneer at the people he describes as ‘toffs’ but is almost beside himself with excitement in scrabbling for a knighthood, a supporter of ’stop hereditary peers’ who tried to get his Hull seat passed on to his son – hypocrisy writ large – VERY, VERY large – that’s JP!
The idea that a tiresomely ill-informed, incoherent serial womanizer can be elevated to our highest Chamber of Government simply because he is too embarrassing to have remain in the front-line of Labour Party politics is so obscene that I would physically retch to see him in ermine (cheap Matalan ermine selected by his brassy old MILF of a wife, no doubt). Please please no, stop this car-crash of common chavness now!

Do we forget the miners strikes. Do we forget Prescott did nothing for this country over the last 15 years only sit back and fill his pockets.
So this is what they mean by reforming the Lords. Instead of hereditary peers we can now have people fiddled (Sorry I meant to say elected) into the job. Looking on the bright side at least the tradition of the most unsuitable people taking seats in the lords will be upheld if Little Lord Prescot is allow into it.
Prescott became a ship’s steward on cruise ships because he knew how much he could earn in tips from the wealthy passengers. He could also screw some of the women passengers. I served on the catering side of passenger liners after the war so I know about Prescott and his kind. It was not about service but what he could gain from it. The same motive brought him into politics. Even after 40 years of scoffing at the upper class and professing he was a die hard Socialist he will be over the moon to receive a peerage. Two jaguar John a hypocrite? You bet.
This is a man who has constantly professed his socialist roots, sneering at anyone who aims criticism his way and grabbed everything he could for himself. He is the worst sort of hypocrite, the kind who does the labour movement a great deal of harm.

his appointment is the perfect reason why the House of Lords should be abolished, The mans a buffoon.
Why should he have a peerage, he’s not done anything good, nothing at all to be proud of. It is just a mockery. Give the peerage to someone who has done some good for others.
Someone with some computer skills should be able to place the petition and link on Facebook and Twitter and get lots more support, come on you wiz kids don’t let him get away with it.
Prescott is an oaf and a disgrace to this Country, he should not be allowed near the House of Lords.
This man is a disgrace, he abused his authority by having sex in office, he assaulted a member of the public (self defence of course), he claimed thousands in expenses row, in fact the list is endless. Corruption at its best is the only way we can descibe British Politics of the 21st Century……
